Our story 1883

Mahon’s Hotel began its journey back in 1883, when it was opened by Joseph Mahon who had previously owned the Erne Hotel in Ballyshannon.

It started as a coaching inn when the stabling of horses, food provision and accommodation were secondary to the main business of farming.

It has grown in size and focus over the years to become a community hub for locals and visitors to Fermanagh.
